I recently had major transmission issues, and my car wasn’t drivable. I was really worried about the cost, as I had already called multiple mechanics, and all of them told me I would most likely need a new transmission... Thankfully, I found AAMCO through Google, and I have to say this is by far the best mechanic I’ve ever been to! From the moment I contacted them, I felt respected and valued as a customer. Ry (Ryan) was absolutely amazing and made the whole process easy and stress-free. My car was towed to the shop on a Monday afternoon, and by Tuesday afternoon, it was already ready for pickup. Ry called me multiple times with updates and put my mind at ease. Their honesty and efficiency blew me away. They didn’t try to upsell me on anything I didn’t need, and it turns out the transmission issue was just a computer problem—no need for a new transmission at all. They are also very reasonably priced. Thanks to their honesty and great service, my family will now be using AAMCO for all our car needs. If you’re looking for a trustworthy, reliable mechanic, this is absolutely the place.
This was our first time bringing our vehicle in to get repaired (broken alternator) and it was an excellent experience!!! Rye was great at communicating everything to us every step of the way, was very very professional and polite, and the pricing was extremely reasonable and very competitive. (Which is so key in today's inflationary environment). We will be bringing our vehicle here to get serviced every time now 100%. You've restored my faith in mechanic shops! AAMCO really helped me out this week when my car unexpectedly broke down. First the clear communication with Rye at the desk helped me to feel calm. Then their quick work got me back out on the road. This is the best place you could ever take your vehicle in to get fixed. Go to AAMCO Pickering! They do great work, they're fast, and a shop that's actually honest. Never have to worry about being overcharged or replacing something that doesn't need it. Even no charge when a simple fix is discovered after a diagnostic check. So glad I found this place and will be bringing my cars here always!
